1.) Describe how new technologies have led to the convergence of traditional and new media. 

  • One example is the e-book, the book which is a traditional media can be transferred to new media which is e-book.
  • Another thing are newspapers, you can now read news in both platforms. 

2.) Explain how media convergence creates new opportunities for interaction. 

  • It creates new opportunities in a way that information is shared easily to a large number of people. Since it is a combination of different types of media, various platforms are readily available for a lot of people. 

3.) Describe the use of one or two forms of new media to share knowledge and information on a current issue in society. 

  • New media shares information by posting videos or live broadcast that makes the exchange of information easy. For example when President Duterte has a conference, it makes it easy for us to know what happens during that meeting and we're also given the chance to exchange opinions below the broadcast/ 

4.) Explain how a person could be portrayed in public in the age of media convergence.

  • A person can be portrayed in public in the age of media convergence as someone who is fast and easily accessible. Nowadays, the age of our technology is really handy for us since everything can be obtained with just one click. Another thing is that every single piece of information can now be seen in every social media sites. A person can also share it by providing the right source.
